At the confluence of the sea, we are carrying out a symbolic cleaning program of Patenga Sea beach, the river safety social organization “Nongor Bangladesh”.

On Friday, January 15, at 4 pm, tourists including Bangladesh Tourist Police participated in the cleaning campaign at Patenga Sea beach.

Presided over by Shuman Shams, the program began with a short street rally at Patenga Beach, addressed by Abhilasha Das, Coordinator of Poetry Shahbagh, Poet Pradeep Dutta, Patenga Tourist Police Inspector, and Enamul Haque Shimul, Patenga Tourist Police Officers in Charge.

At the end of the brief meeting, the symbolic clean-up operation was started by dropping nongor badges from Patenga beach zone 1 to zone 3.

Shuman Sams, Founder President of nongor bangladesh, thanked the tourist police officers who took part in the campaign and called upon all levels of citizens to build a clean country.

He added that in the golden jubilee year of independence, the main goal of the beach cleaning campaign titled ‘We are at the confluence of the seas’ is to create mass awareness among the travel enthusiasts to protect the environment. He also said that the campaign to protect the river nature and environment will continue in a continuous manner.

Abhilasha Das said, “Sea, river and water resources are our great resources. He called upon the general public to participate in public awareness activities with a commitment to protect the environment and wildlife.

Patenga Tourist Police Officer-in-Charge thanked all those present, including nongor bangladesh and Shahbagh, the capital of poetry, and urged all tourists to come to Patenga safely, without any hindrance.
