A public awareness campaign was organized in the area of Buriganga and Adi Buriganga to prevent corona virus by the initiative of the river security social organization Nongor Bangladesh.
Disposable water is spilled in Kamrangirchar’s houses, shops, mosques, Khayaghat and Khaya boats and soap. Masks, hand glops, hand sanitizers are distributed among the people of the area.
Kamrangirich started its campaign from Iron pool on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 10:30 am and ended at 2:20 pm. The expedition was conducted from the original Buriganga river to Beribadh, Kurraghat, Thoda ghat and Madar Bazar Ghat.
From Kamrangirchar Iron Pool to the cold terraces of Buriganga to Madbar Bazaar, ordinary people of the three Khayaghat are reminded of the horrors of corona virus and urged all the people to be more aware.
Shuman Shams, the founding president of the river security social organization ‘Nongor Bangladesh’, urged the people of Bangladesh to be vigilant in protecting their health against corona virus.
He said the corona virus has already killed 7 million people in different countries of the world and 12 million people have been infected.
At the same time, 76 migrants died from corona virus and 12 new migrants were identified.
Besides, in the districts of Bangladesh, corona virus has already resulted in the death of 12 civilians, 123 people have been infected and 35 new ones have been identified which has terrified us.

Saidul Madbar (ward number 57 of Dhaka South City Corporation), Mr. Sujit roy Nandi (Secretary of Relief and Social Welfare, Bangladesh Awami League) and Mr. Akhlakur Rahman Main, Director of (Child And mother care) assisted in the campaign of the river security social organization Nongor Bangladesh.

Therefore, the president of the Nongor Bangladesh requested to stay in his house, keeping all the directions declared by the Bangadesh government while maintaining social distance to prevent corona virus.
